The STOP-DWI New York's Have A Plan mobile application has been designed to encourage individuals who may have had too much to drink to plan their journey when impaired. Additionally, it aims to offer interactive information on the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The application includes several noteworthy features:

<ul>
 <li>Don’t Drive. Get a Ride: Utilizes your mobile device's GPS functionality to locate nearby taxi services (please note that not all services may be available). This feature also allows you to save the contact details of individuals you could call for a ride if you are unable to drive. This ensures you always have a contingency plan for a safe trip home.</li>
 
 <li>Have a Plan: Arrange your evening out with access to services for dining, travel, and tickets for various events.</li>
 
 <li>Test Your Skills: An interactive section offering five skill evaluations that assess your motor skills, reaction time, memory, and precision, all of which can be impacted when impaired. It is worth noting that these games do not provide an exact measure of a person's driving ability. It is possible to be charged with DWI with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) below 0.08 if you exhibit signs of impaired driving, regardless of your performance in these games.</li>
 
 <ul>
 <li>Backwards It Spell: A cognitive skill assessment where users spell words backwards.</li>
 <li>Steady Now: Evaluates stability skills.</li>
 <li>Fill'er Up: Tests precision and accuracy.</li>
 <li>Pile High: Assesses reaction time.</li>
 </ul>
</ul>

The application is sponsored by STOP-DWI New York, funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration through a grant from the New York State Governor's Traffic Safety Committee.
